Top 5 accessories

This post is about 5 accessories that I find can really help transform your outfit. I have recently done a post on vintage chic, so if you want to look a little more vintage, then check that out here. I find that accessories make everything just a little more interesting. Obviously I don’t wear all of these at one time, but these are a few of my favourite accessories.

Accessory. 1- Jackets

I love a jacket, whether its denim or cotton, I think a jacket is a brilliant way to transform your summer wardrobe into a more autumnal one.  A jacket that I adore for a formal occasion and every day is this black ‘suit’ type jacket. I prefer this for occasion or something a little more formal. But don’t get me wrong, I ADORE this. I’m not quite sure where it’s from, but there are lots very similar to this available. Another jacket that I love and I’m not sure where it’s from is this denim jacket that I wear with EVERYTHING! The embroidery is beautiful and it’s so comfy.

Accessory. 2- Scarves

I have confessed my love to scarves before in my How to wear jumpers post and I love them. Especially when it gets a little colder, but you still want to look trendy. To me scarves never go out of fashion and I am willing to rock them all year round- spring, summer, autumn and winter. There are so many colours and patterns to choose from too. I talked about scarves in my how to wear jumpers post, so I will link that here.

Accessory. 3- Sunglasses

Although sunglasses are a small part of an outfit and not very suitable for this current season, I just couldn’t leave them out. I am obsessed and love a pair of quirky and cute sunglasses, I feel that they just make everything look so much cooler and classier. Whether they’re in my hair or on my face they just transform my look.

Accessory. 4- Jewellery

I love pretty and sparkly necklaces, they are so simple but effective. They are so small and make such a difference. I love a pendant, full string of beads or charm bracelet. The one thing I would say about jewellery, is don’t overdo it and make sure the colours don’t clash with your outfit.

Accessory. 5- Bags

Now I don’t know about you, but when I think about accessories and style, I think of bags. Whether it’s a casual rucksack or a stylish handbag, they are not only practical but also cute and stylish. They are great to match outfits or to make a simple look more exciting. I have the cutest rucksack ever that everyone always asks me about. Unfortunately I don’t know where it’s from, but there are plenty on the market available currently.
