Review: The Body shop Born Lippys

The Body shop does some incredible tinted lip balms that I simply adore. They are called the born lippys and they retail for only £2! I have 4 out of 5 of the shades and one of my best friends has the last, which is a pretty purple called passion berry (on my shopping list!) They smell and taste incredible, with really fun bright colors. I have the pot version, they also do them in a wind up stick form and they are £3.

The colors I have are Strawberry, a red (fave), Raspberry, a bright pink, Satsuma shimmer, an orange with gold shimmer and Watermelon, a light peach. These are all quite sheer tinted lip balms and I find when applied with a lip brush you get the most pigmentation. However, they are a great product to throw in your handbag for on the go and do work well applied with fingers. They can be as a gloss over lipstick as they are quite glossy, or on their own.

I like the packaging; I think it’s quite cute. It’s not the most hygienic, having to put your finger in a pot, but I think its ok.

I absolutely adore these and think they are such a bargain for the price. They would be great for all ages, I know so many people who love them. I highly recommend them and for £2, you can’t go wrong!
