Vintage chic

Accessories can really define us and help show of our beautiful personalities. No doubt about it. While on the hunt for a new obsession why not venture somewhere a little different to your average high street store? Let’s get this straight, rocking the vintage  look doesn't have to mean traveling back in time to the Victorian era, no. In fact it can be something as subtle as a few cute but tiny badges to customize that boring bag of course.
Sewing on quirky, normal or fabric buttons, of all different shapes and sizes is an easy way to decorate belongings too. Everyone has items of clothing way too plain Jane to bother with or so it seems...remember some fashion items can be rescued from the back of your wardrobe once spruced up a little! Teaming a dainty silver locket, purl bracelet or flowery hair pins with a simple dress will add bagful’s of sophistication and will be lovely to wear on special occasions.

Chilly weather shouldn't force you to compromise with style; an oversized cable knit sweater or cardigan is both retro and snuggly warm, perfect for this time of year as they come in lots of cheery colors, much like the leaves on the trees at the moment. With a patterned skirt underneath, thick tights and chunky boots this should look amazing.

Hopefully while I sit here and ramble on you guys are standing in front of the mirror mixing and matching. So what if your floor has become a mountain of clothes? At least there easier to find that way? Sort of…

Happy autumn fire flies. May those hidden gems be easy to find :)
