Spring
is a time of sunshine and pretty colours, and your makeup can reflect its
beauty in a natural and low maintenance way. Dewy skin, fluttery lashes and
flushed cheeks and lips are the perfect way of creating a spring look.
A
lighter coverage with a glowy, sheeny look is perfectly recreated with Bare
Minerals powder foundation. The original provides a sheer look that’s radiant
but not greasy, which is a bonus for anyone with oily skin. If you need a
little more coverage, on blemishes perhaps, try the corresponding concealer-
the multi- tasking minerals for a more opaque and creamy finish.
For
blusher give the 17 blusher in plum puff a whirl, for a natural, flushed pinky
purple. It’s almost matte, but has a little shimmer for a healthy glow. That’s
all for the face, very simple and quick, but effective too.
A
little colour in the spring time looks wonderful on the eyes. Navy is a shade
for the less daring- its more neutral. Estee Lauder’s beautiful navy quad,
‘intoxicating blue’, has a light duck egg, yellow champagne, dark navy and
shimmery peach. The peach looks stunning over the lid, the champagne as a brow
bone highlight and navy used as a liner on angled brush.
Heaping’s
of Barry M’s volume mascara, to accentuate those fluttery lashes and bring out
the eyes.
A
lip-gloss to match the blush- Tanya Burr’s ‘smile, dream, sparkle’ is the
perfect light pink, with a hint of shimmer and lilac. These glosses are
outstanding, with great colour range, formula and smell.
That’s
all, a natural, navy and lilac makeup for spring!
