Cruelty free beauty

Being an animal lover myself, it’s always a pleasure to discover my products aren’t tested on animals. It’s always a struggle to know what’s tested and what’s not, but as far as I know, none of these brands test on animals. Disclaimer- these aren’t all of the cruelty free brands, just some of my favourites. These brands also came up several times on the internet as being untested, however if you know otherwise, please let me know.

Soap and glory does amazing makeup, skincare and bath and body products, some of my favourites being: the intense super cat liner, the nourishing body butters (especially the sugar crush- it’s like ice cream soda!) and the clean on me body wash. They have an amazing range of scents and products with outstanding quality. Not forgetting the Hand Food hand cream and the Scrub of your life body scrub.

Barry M and No7 also do some great products cruelty free. Barry M’s nail paints are outstanding, being opaque, with a wide range of shades and finishes. The mascara is also a fab all-rounder. No7 has a huge range of high quality products. I love: the tinted moisturiser- for a sheer look, the lipsticks- opaque stay perfects, creamy moisture rich and glossy sheer temptations, and the mascaras. The extreme length gives alot of versatility.

The Body shop markets their products as being all natural and not tested on animals. My favourites for the body are: the body butters and the shower gels, with fruity fragrances and nourishing qualities. If you’re a mani and pedi girl, I love: the top and base coat, the hand cream and the peppermint cooling foot spray. For skincare, the tea tree range is unbeatable for oily skin, my favourites being the primer and tea tree oil. Lastly for makeup, I love the glow radiance pearls and colour crush lipsticks, especially 15.

Bare Minerals is the home to my current favourite foundation and concealer- the multi-tasking mineral concealer (full review here) and the original mineral foundation. A lovely lip gloss too- hot shot, rebel, trailblazer and stunner are all fab!

Urban decay also provide high quality, cruelty free beauty products, such as the classic naked palette, perfect primer and opaque nail polish.

These are some of my favourite cruelty free beauty products!
