3 spring nail colours

Bold and pastel, opaque and creamy nail colours are definitely coming into use as the weather becomes warmer and warmer. Following my 3 spring lipsticks, here are some spring polishes that perfectly match this time of year. These are also great transitional shades going into summer.

Starting a with a classic- mint. Rimmel’s 'Breakfast in Bed', is a simple mint, that’s a perfect combo of blue and green. Maybelline’s 'Mint for Life' is very similar, just a little more blue. The brush is also fabulous as it allows the polish to glide on smoothly and evenly. The wear time is also outstanding.

A coral has to be mentioned and no surprises here- Essie 'Cute as a Button' has to be my favourite. It’s the perfect flamingo pink that stands out without being neon. Barry M’s 'Papaya' is similar, just peachier and a little lighter in shade. The Barry M Gelly nail paints are also bargains at only £3.99!

A pinky purple like Essie’s 'Splash of Grenadine' is hard to come by and certainly a unique shade. As I’ve mentioned before, the quality of Essie is out of this world and pure luxury. If you are more inclined towards a lilac, try Avon’s 'Luxe lavender'- recently added back into the line for a limited time- get it while you can!

As spring shades come into play, get your nails perfectly on point, just like the fresh spring flowers.
