April essentials

Another month has flown by and so has winter. As we part ways with bold, berry lips and dark nails, we look towards our spring lip colours and lightweight textures. Here are a few staples for the upcoming month.
Benefit rollerlash- holy grail status. I recently mentioned it in this post, but it has blown away all expectations. If you are looking for fluttery, feathery and long lashes, that feel lightweight and daytime appropriate- this is the mascara for you.

The No7 eye gel is a great product as we move into warmer months. Its lightweight and refreshing, and great at depuffing dark circles. The gel texture is also very pleasant, gliding onto the under eye surface and ensuring a smooth canvas for applying makeup.

Colab dry shampoo (created by blogger Ruth Crilly) is fool proof. The texture is perfect- not too sticky or wet, but not too dry and powdery. It also creates a textured effect and adds plenty of volume too. With festival season fast approching, this is an essential. There's four fragrances to choose from, what more could you want!

Barry M's Matte Nail Paint in 'Rhossili' is a great shade to transition into spring. The purple pink shade is dark and not too sickly, but has a enough of a bold pop for the warmer months. Essie 'Splash of grenadine' is a similar shade, but with a glossy finish.

Happy April!
