Hot for June

As the months roll by, and the warm weather continues to increase, here is another of my monthly round ups of my favourites from May...

Starting with a new base. Shock horror, I know- I have strayed from my loyal Bare Minerals powder foundation. On a similar theme however, Bare Minerals newly released Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturiser has a similar ethos. Natural glowing skin, skincare benefits and ease to apply. The tinted moisturiser however, is dewier, more hydrating and obviously, a liquid. To find out a more in depth review, check back next week for my final thoughts.

Mac's 'Peach blossom' soared to the top of my hit list of products to try the moment I layed eyes on it- and it did not disappoint. The creamsheen finish gives an opaque, glossy and nourished finish, packing a punch of colour with a hint of shine. The shade is perfect for a spring nude with a touch of pink.

I have been on the hunt for a new cleanser for a little while now, finding the perfect mix of cleansing, but not stripping and moisturising but not oily. I also require something that will take my makeup off quickly and effectively. The Benefit 'Remove it makeup remover' delivers all of these things- and more!

A fashion favourite this month too (again featuring the geek chic vibe), a satchel backpack. I was on the hunt for months to find the perfect one, and had almost given up, until I stumbled across this on Amazon. Its perfect- smart enough to wear to a meeting or work, but casual and cute too. I also love the way it hangs on my back, its much comfier than an on the shoulder or elbow bag. It fits plenty in it- I truly can't fault it!

What have been your favourites this month?
