Autumn Nail Colors
Autumn is upon us and a few key polishes to take us past golden, hazy sky's and sparkling sunsets is what every Autumn girl desires. A mash up of deeps and bronzes, peaches and nudes, will match with the boho craze we saw explode in fashion week. Burnt amber's and rich hues, will enhance each and everyone of these fab paints...
Urban Decay's 'Wrecked' has to be one of my favorites, especially for Autumn and Winter. Featuring in their 2011 Holiday gift set, these can be difficult to get hold of, but they do pop up on eBay fairly regularly. Gliding onto the nail, these smooth and creamy polishes keep that incredible, richly pigmented burgundy for days.
'Barlust' and 'Gunmetal' also feature as favorites from Urban Decay's Collection, both featuring heavy bronze sheen's. 'Gunmetal' is a beautiful shade, with a stunning duo chrome. First appearing as a taupe silver, the bronze shimmer catches the light, drawing your eyes to the unique polish. 'Barlust' is similar, but a straight up bronze shimmer with some rusty red tones too.
Essie's 2014 Summer drop featured the red fuchsia - 'Haute in the Heat'. Whilst designed as a Summer polish, this can take you into Autumn too. This transforms between red and pink, a perfect Autumnal sunset shade. Essie's quality is another level of lovely, smooth and creamy, 2 coats will do the job perfectly. I do apologize for featuring yet another limited edition shade, but if you like the look of this, Essie's 'Watermelon' is very similar.
Two shades from the Barry M Gelly range, 'Coconut' and 'Juicy Papaya'. Not forgetting the pale nude shades in the cool months, 'Coconut' delivers the perfect balance of white and cream, so it's not too stark or bold. On darker skin, this is a statement nail, and on pale skin subtle and wearable. 'Juicy Papaya' truly captures the peachy tones in Autumn and works all year round. Both of these polishes have an amazing standard of quality, especially for the price. With a true gel effect and creamy finish, these are definitely worth the hype!
Last, but not least, Illamasqua 'Venous' couldn't go without a mention. Green isn't your typical Fall color, but looks just as lovely as any deep bolds. A dark turquoise, this is a wearable shade for any skin tone.
What will you be rocking on you nails this Autumn?
