The Perfect Pink

Valentines day is a mere two days away, and a perfect everyday pink lip for a 'your lips but better' is ideal for any skin tone and shade, with an ideal blend of warm peach and cool pink for every look and style. Whether its a deep smokey eye, soft bronze hazes or bold, bright liner, these gentle innocent colours will transfer from day to night, light to dark. Here's my favourite pairing...

MAC have an incredible selection of colours to choose from, so if my favorites aren't for you, there's bound to be a perfect colour and formula for you, and the MAC store assistants are very helpful if you're stuck.

'Peach Blossom'. I'll try not to sound like a broken record, but I can't get enough of this lipstick. Pale in shade and sheer in pigment, this pink/peach/nude pairs with every eye, dramatic or natural. Whilst being difficult to pull off on a darker skin tone, on my snow white skin, its ideal. The slight shimmer brings a delightful glow to the face, pulling everything together.

The Cremesheen formula is outstanding. Whilst not lasting for a long duration of time, it highlights the lips, attracting light to high points of the lip space. A gloss in solid form, but with the pigment desired to fully coat the lips.

Pair this pale sheen with MAC's aptly named 'Rosy Rim' lip liner. This matte pink shade lasts underneath the sheer layer, keeping the colour there all day. Creamy, yet long lasting, 'Rosy Rim's formula is perfect. Softly line the lips, exaggerating a little where required. This may be the bottom lip or cupids bow. Fill into the centre, avoiding harsh lines. Blend gently for a seamless colour blend.

My favourite way to wear this lip duo is with flushed cheeks, winged liner and a defined crease and brows. I've discovered my everyday, signature shade and style, let me know in the comments, yours!
