Boots haul and mini review

I did a little shopping the other day and I decided to do a haul and mini review. I haven’t fully formed opinions on all of these yet, but I have enough to be able to tell you my thoughts. If you want to see a full review on any of these, let me know in the comments below.

The first product is the Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow foundation. I have been eyeing this up for a while now, because I love Benefit and this sounds perfect. Its oil free, has SPF 25 and is their 'brightening makeup'. The packaging is really cute and I want to say now that I really like it, but will do a full review on this at some time in the future.

Another Benefit product, this is the posie balm. It’s a tinted lip balm that’s pink. I love tinted lip balms and really like this. I think that everyone should have a ‘special’ lipstick, something that is a treasure and they enjoy wearing. If you don't feel like splashing out on a YSL or Tom Ford lipstick, then this would be a good cheaper option. This is another product that I want to do a full review on at some point.

An eyeliner that my friend recently picked up was the Soap and Glory super cat liquid liner. We found it together in Boots, and she told me it was incredible and I had to try it. I LOVE THIS! It’s a felt tip liner, which I’ve used before, but found them to be a bit dry. This one however wasn’t. It’s really black, easy to apply and I’ve already had a complement on it. This is yet another product that I’m going to review in a separate post.

A brand that I ADORE is Essie. From the minute I saw the counter I knew I was in love. I got cute as a button, adorable name, beautiful colour, and I love it on the nails. I’m not going to swatch this here as I have an Essie brand review coming up soon.

There was a new mascara from Barry M that caught my eye, called the Extra Volume black showgirl mascara. I picked the volumising formula rather than the lengthening as I’ve got quite a few lengthening ones open currently. I was pleasantly surprised by this. It has a big fibre wand and really gives a lot of volume, but is not at all clumpy. I did also notice quite a bit of length as well. It lasted really well and didn’t flake or print underneath my eye and after 3 coats, you get a really thick, cool lash look that doesn’t look over done.

Another Barry M product is their limited edition Christmas nail paint which is brand new and only just in store. I really like the glitter nail paints any way- Barry M do some incredible nail stuff. I picked up the shade Starlight. The other shade is Moon light, which is quite similar, just has navy glitter as well as gold. Its gold rainbow glitter in dots and stars and will look so beautiful layered over red. This will feature in my Christmas nail art post in December, so look out for swatches there!

That’s all for today, if you would like a full review and swatch of any of these, then let me know in the comments.
