October monthly favourites 2014

October has flown so fast and I can’t believe it’s already November(nearly Christmas!!!) There have
been quite a few things that I have been absolutely loving this month and I really wanted to share them with you.

The first favourite is something that I am more than obsessed over. Tanya Burr’s lip-gloss in Picnic in the park is the best lip-gloss I own! It’s seriously incredible! It smells incredible, like strawberries and cream, has incredible pigmentation, so you don’t need to wear lipstick underneath and it’s really shiny and lasts for two hours! Seriously I could go on for EVER!!! The applicator is perfection, flat with the perfect amount of product on. The colour selection is gorgeous, the packaging is cute and picnic in the park is a really pretty pinky coral. I can’t recommend this lip gloss enough and if you could like a full review and swatches, let me know in the comments.

The next product is the Barry M extra volume black showgirl mascara. A few of these products will be featured next Friday in a haul, this included. I really like this and it does give quite a bit of volume that doesn’t look to overdone, but you can build it up to look really dramatic.

Another product that will feature next Friday is the Soap and Glory super cat liner. Me and my friend were looking for a liquid liner in Boots the other day and we found this. She then told me it was AMAZING and I had to try it. So I bought it with very high expectations, and I wasn’t disappointed. This is super black, easy to apply and really long lasting. This is awesome.

A nail polish that I’ve had my eye one and haven’t got round to purchasing is Essie cute as a button. It’s a really pretty pinky coral and lord knows, I love a pinky coral. This will also feature in the haul. I have been wearing this every day since I got it and I am in love! I am doing an Essie brand review with swatches next week.

For skincare, one product stood out to me. The Olay night cream. This is my go to night cream and it’s really nice. The consistency is quite thick like sun cream, but don’t be put off. It’s not heavy or clogging of the pores and goes on to the skin really light and fresh. It’s a lovely night cream and I mentioned this in my skincare routine, which I will link here.

This month I have been loving my green converse. The actual colour isn’t my favourite shade of green, but they seem to go with everything and they are so comfy. I have pretty small but wide feet, so some shoes are a bit uncomfortable. These are perfect though and so cool. I LOVE converse.(I know they are muddy, but that's proof that I have been loving them!)

A TV show that I have really been enjoying is Doctor Who. I didn’t think that Doctor who would ever be for me and I thought it would take me for ever to get my head round the new doctor. But I’ve really been enjoying it.

Now that it’s a bit colder, I am back loving hot chocolate. I am a true Cadburys fan and I find that if you do milk before hot water and stir really well, then pour the water, its super frothy and yummy.

Now this is probably a bit controversial, as you either love it or hate it. I personally love marmite, but I know loads don’t. I think that lots of butter and a small amount of marmite is best and really yummy.

Have a great November!
