Summer Look Book

A compact summer look book is ideal, for holidays, or simply not wanting to worry about outfit choices. But, I've done the work for you, and picked out some of my favourite outfit combos, all corresponding. The colour theme I have chosen is white and blue, but feel free to adapt that to your colour preferences. Lets dive in...

 TEES:

Blue tee- I've chosen for my simple tee, this blue and white, long sleeved, acid wash t-shirt from H&M. The soft cotton is breathable, so ideal for warm weather. Style this under dungarees, with white, denim or printed shorts, and maybe a denim jacket in the evening.

White crop top- A daisy embellished crop top from Topshop looks stunning with a pair of high waisted denim shorts or dungarees. The slightly boxy cut really complements all body shapes. The key to wearing a crop top however, is confidence.


SHIRTS OR BLOUSES:

White lace blouse- A simple white blouse, with crochet detailing is ideal for this look book, perfect with denim or patterned shorts, jumpers, denim jacket or over dungarees. This Brave Soul is key to this look book.

White shirt- Loose fitting, floaty and breathable- everything this relaxed white shirt is. Throw this over a pair of shorts, for a bohemian chic, casual look.


SHORTS:

White/black shorts- Cotton white shorts are perfect for summer, despite being prone to stains, they are beautiful, particularly with the blue tee. Take your pick on colour preferences and other pieces in your wardrobe.

Acid wash high waisted shorts- River Island have almost reached perfection with these shorts. They look amazing, especially with a crop top. However, they aren't the most comfortable and do show off rather more bum than I'd prefer, but nothings perfect. However, these are my favourite pair of shorts out of the three and I LOVE them!

Blue patterned shorts - A comfortable pair of cotton shorts, with decorative patterns are ideal for any holiday- a city break or by the beach. Fat Face deliver a beautifully embellished pair of comfy shorts that match incredibly well with this blue and white theme.


THROW OVERS:

Cream light jumper- a light, casual jumper to throw over an outfit if it gets chilly is an essential. Loose fitting jumpers like this are available in most stores, mine from H&M.

Mint light jumper- similar to the last, a simple light jumper to throw over any outfit, also H&M.

Denim jacket- a denim jacket to smarten up a casual outfit for the evening is a must. Alternatively, it could make a smart outfit casual. Either way Fat Face has done well with this one.


OTHERS:

Denim dungarees- whether a play-suit, dress or dungarees, some thing of the ilk is a good alternative to shorts and a tee. This denim dungaree dress can be styled with a t-shirt of choice, or with undone blouse over top.
